Welcome to Floyd's Little Harbour

How it all began:

Floyd Stewart originally built a small boat for his grandson which together they set out in the Back Harbour and let it sail behind the dory they were rowing. When it was time to return to shore, rather than take it out of the harbour Floyd decided that the small boat would be better enjoyed if left sailing. Then as time went on Floyd added more ships as companions to the original and so began years of building and sailing miniature ships for the enjoyment of visitors to Lockeport.

New model under construction. This boat with it's spray hood from the late 1940's was the predecessor of boats with cabins. This model will be named after Floyd's Dad who used it for fishing in rougher seas and stormy weather

Here's Theodore the Tug being modeled and awaiting a paint job. Theodore will be replacing it's earlier version which was retired after 4 years in the Harbour
